SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes quarterback and current Baltimore Ravens signal caller Tyler Huntley had a nice showing against the Titans in preseason.
Tyler Huntley led the Ravens to a 23-10 win in preseason action against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night at home.
The former Utah star got the start for Baltimore and finished the game by completing 16 of his 18 pass attempts for 109 yards and one touchdown pass. He also rushed for 17 yards on three attempts.
On the first drive of the game, the Ravens were forced to punt. Baltimore got the ball back after one play due to a lost fumble by the Titans. Huntley and the Ravens capitalized with a four-yard TD run by Mike Davis. Both teams exchanged punts on the next two possessions before the Titans found the end zone to tie the game at seven in the first half.

Later in the half, Huntley threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Shemar Bridges with 35 seconds remaining until the break. That would be all that Huntley would play is the first half. Former Oregon quarterback Anthony Brown made his NFL debut with the Ravens, completing 10 of his 15 pass attempts for 117 yards. Brown was an undrafted free agent.
“I’ve got a couple of games under my belt,” Huntley said after the game. “I’ve played against some good players like Aaron Donald and T.J. Watt. It gave me a little confidence in the future.”
