SALT LAKE CITY – Fans of the New York Knicks are turning out in full force to recruit Utah Jazz All-Star Donovan Mitchell, including “Succession” star Nicholas Braun.
Braun plays the rubish Cousin Greg on the hit HBO series and filmed himself recruiting Mitchell to the Knicks while the two sat near one another at a New York Mets game.
Come to New York, Donovan,” the Succession star said in the video while Mitchell looked at his phone in the background. “Come to New York, it could be cool if you came to New York.”
The All-Star guard is not shy about his Mets fandom, regularly talking about the team during the NBA season and live-tweeting the games.
The New York has been a regular at Mets games this summer but recently traveled to Miami to continue his offseason workouts.
Mitchell’s father, Donovan Mitchell Sr. works in the Mets organization and the Jazz guard grew up as a multisport athlete playing both baseball and basketball.
Earlier this summer the Jazz guard stepped up to the plate with several members of the Mets during batting practice where and hit a deep shot to left field.

In another post from the station, Mitchell is seen talking to Mets pitcher Taijuan Walker.
“Donovan Mitchell and @tai_walker running 2s would be unstoppable,” SNY tweeted.
In May, was chatting with Mets star Francisco Lindor while he was in the on-deck circle waiting for his at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning against the St. Louis Cardinals.
The Jazz have reportedly been listening to offers for their young star with the Knicks as the most likely trade partner.
However, talks have reportedly stalled between the Jazz and Knicks over the last several weeks as the Charlotte Hornets, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings, Atlanta Hawks, and Washington Wizards have also shown interest in Mitchell’s services.
