SALT LAKE CITY – The NBA Summer League in Las Vegas has concluded with six locals participating with five different teams from around the league.

The six locals in the NBA that finished Summer League play include Weber State duo Jerrick Harding and Isiah Brown, Utah State stars Justin Bean and Neemias Queta, BYU standout guard Alex Barcello and former Runnin’ Ute Both Gach.

Harding played for the Dallas Mavericks, Brown and Bean were on the Los Angeles Clippers’ roster, Queta was with the Sacramento Kings, Barcello played for the Toronto Raptors and Gach played for the Orlando Magic.

Along with the six locals, two additional players participated in Summer League that used to play for the Utah Jazz.

Here is how the locals performed during Summer League in Las Vegas.

Jerrick Harding, Weber State

Harding was a standout for the Mavericks in Las Vegas. As a regular starter, Harding played in all five games for Dallas. He averaged 13.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 4 assists on 50% shooting from the field and 36% from beyond the arc.

The former Weber State star scored in double figures in four of the five games, including 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists against the Phoenix Suns. His second-best game was against the Jazz, dropping 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor.

The Mavericks went 0-5 in Summer League play.

Isiah Brown, Weber State

Brown had some moments in Las Vegas where he showed the Clippers what he could do. He played in two games with one contest lasting just eight minutes on the floor. The former Weber State standout had a great showing on Saturday in the Summer League finale with eight points, two rebounds and one assist on 3-for-4 shooting from the field and made his only three-point attempt, all while playing just eight minutes.

The Clippers went 2-3 in Summer League play.

Justin Bean, Utah State

After signing an Exhibit 10 deal with the Clippers right after the draft, Bean played in four of the five games in Vegas. He averaged two points and 3.5 rebounds on just 30% shooting from the floor in 11.7 minutes per game. His best game was against the Denver Nuggets on July 13, finishing with six points, six rebounds, one assist and a steal.

The Clippers went 2-3 in Summer League play.

Both Gach, Utah

After leaving the Runnin’ Utes with one year of college eligibility remaining, Gach didn’t see the floor much in Summer League. He did not play in the first four games for the Magic. On Saturday, Gach played 11 minutes, finishing with three points, two rebounds and one turnover, while making his only three-point attempt.

The Magic went 2-3 in Summer League play.

Neemias Queta, Utah State

Entering his second season in the NBA, Queta showed massive improvement for the Kings in Summer League. He played in four of the five games, missing the last one. Queta averaged 12.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.7 blocks while shooting 67% from the field and hitting both of his three-point attempts in 23.5 minutes per game.

The Kings went 3-2 in Summer League play.

Alex Barcello, BYU

Barcello didn’t see the floor much during his time with the Toronto Raptors’ Summer League team. He played one minute in the first game and four minutes in the second game before getting DNP’d the next two games. In the Summer League finale on Sunday, Barcello played 22 minutes, posting 10 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals on 4-for-11 shooting from the field and 2-of-6 from downtown.

The Raptors went 4-1 during Summer League play.

Former Jazzmen

Miye Oni – Dallas Mavericks

The former second-round pick for the Utah Jazz struggled in Las Vegas for the Mavericks. He played in all five games while averaging just 2.4 points 2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. Oni couldn’t find a rhythm on offense, shooting just 16% from the field and 18% from beyond the arc in 17.4 minutes per game.

The Mavericks went 0-5 in Summer League play.

Jarrell Brantley – Los Angeles Clippers

Former Jazz second-round pick Jarrell Brantley looked good in Vegas for the Clippers. After playing in all five games, Brantley averaged 7.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game, shooting 50% from the floor and 31% from downtown in 21.6 minutes per game.

The Clippers went 2-3 in Summer League play.

Rayjon Tucker – Milwaukee Bucks

Tucker played all five games for the Bucks in Las Vegas. He averaged 6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game on 42% shooting from the field and 41% from the three-point line in 18.8 minutes per contest.

The Bucks went 3-2 in Summer League play.
