Bolmaro Hits Buzzer Beater For Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz got big contributions from newly acquired Johnny Juzang and Leandro Bolmaro, including a highlight reel buzzer beater to end the first half.
Bolmaro scored all eight of his first half points late in the second quarter, including a buzzer-beating layup to trim the Los Angeles Clippers lead to just two points at the break.
The second-year guard drove past his defender as time expired and sunk his eighth point of the half as time expired.

Bolmaro also had three rebounds over the first 20 minutes of the game.
It was the best scoring stretch of the summer league for Bolmaro who has struggled to find his jump shot in three previous appearances for the Jazz. Bolmaro was shooting just 24 percent from the floor and 15 percent from the three-point line to open the Summer League.
At the half, Bolmaro had knocked down 3-7 field goal attempts including 2-4 from the three-point line.
The Jazz acquired the Argentine guard in the Rudy Gobert blockbuster trade early last week.
Juzang meanwhile showed off his ability to stretch the floor by knocking down 3-6 three-point shots in the first half, leading the Jazz with 11 points at the break.

The former UCLA guard had his best day as a Jazzman after officially signing his two-way contract with the franchise Friday morning.
Juzang is averaging 6.7 points and 4.7 rebounds in three appearances with the Jazz. The wing is shooting just 27 percent from the floor, but a healthy 38 percent from the three-point line in Las Vegas.
The wing had a difficult first few weeks to begin his NBA career. After going undrafted, Juzang agreed to the two-way deal with the Jazz, the wing was in a car accident in Utah that caused him to miss all three games during the Salt Lake City Summer League.
