PROVO, Utah – October’s BYU/Notre Dame game in Las Vegas will be a hard ticket to obtain.
On Friday, both schools released the ticket information for the “Shamrock Series” tilt between the Irish and Cougars. With the contest being a Notre Dame home game, the share of tickets for BYU fans will be small.

BYU will face the Irish on October 8 at Allegiant Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Las Vegas Raiders. Allegiant served as the venue for BYU’s victory over Arizona last season.
That Arizona game was a “true neutral” contest. BYU received 12,000 tickets to its ticket office last year.
With it being a Notre Dame home game, ticket access overall is more limited this year but BYU’s ticket allotment is significantly more than a typical allotment for a regular road game at an opponent’s stadium. However, overall ticket availability for BYU fans is less than last year’s neutral game played in Allegiant Stadium.
Allegiant Stadium has a capacity of 65,000.
BYU/Notre Dame Ticket Information Released
Along with getting a smaller share of tickets, BYU fans will also have to pay the prices set by the Irish, who is in charge of ticket pricing for the game.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, July 19. BYU created a purchasing schedule based on tiers of the Cougar Club. The ticketing purchase windows begin at 10 a.m. (MT) on Tuesday with the Athletic Director’s Circle.
Then at Noon (MT), the next group will be Cougar Club’s Legacy VI tier. The ticket purchase schedule will run until Thursday, July 21 at 2 p.m. to the Y-Fan member if tickets remain at that window.
Once the tickets are sold out, BYU will notify Cougar Club members that no tickets remain.
If any tickets remain in BYU’s allotment after the purchasing windows, the general public will have an opportunity to buy tickets on Friday, July 22.
Notre Dame’s allotment of tickets will go on sale to their season ticket holders and lottery participants beginning on Tuesday.
For those that won’t be attending the game, you can watch the game on October 8 on KSL 5 TV at 5:30 p.m.
