Tacko Fall Leads Jazz, Weber St G Harding Carries Mavericks

SALT LAKE CITY – Jared Butler and Tacko Fall carried the Utah Jazz to an 83-82 win over Dallas to move to 2-0 in the Las Vegas Summer League, while former Weber State guard Jerrick Harding stood out for the Mavericks.
Butler scored nine points and dished out 10 assists despite shooting an extremely difficult 3-21 from the floor. The second-year guard continued to show off his strong playmaking skills but has yet to shoot the ball efficiently in the summer league.
Fall added a 12 point, 15 rebound, three block double-double in his best appearance as a Jazzman, using his size well against the smaller Mavericks roster.

Johnny Juzang added 11 points and five rebounds in his second game with the Jazz after signing a two-way contract on draft night.
Juzang missed all of the Salt Lake City Summer League after suffering a concussion in a car accident in Utah.
The forward hit a massive three with 34 seconds left to play to extend the Jazz lead to four and effectively ice the game.

Leandro Bolmaro who joined the Jazz in the Rudy Gobert blockbuster trade added 10 points, seven rebounds, a block, and a steal, but struggled with his shot knocking down just 3-11 field goal attempts.
Both Bruno Caboclo and Kofi Cockburn had the night off for the Jazz after strong showings in their last two outings in the summer league.
Harding Stands Out For Mavericks
Though the Jazz got the win, it was former Weber State guard Jerrick Harding that stole the show in the two teams’ matchup.
Harding scored 18 points on an efficient 8-14 shooting floor in less than 25 minutes for the game.

The guard’s ability to score the ball has never been in question after his accomplished career at Weber State.
Harding is the Wildcats’ all-time leading scorer with 2,247 points, edging Jeremy Senglin, Bruce Collins, and Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard.
The Jazz are back in action on Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors who feature another former local product in BYU guard Alex Barcello.
