Life Is Better With A Best Friend
Both Knaak and Deuel took time to share their personal pet stories in hopes it would spur on locals to come and get a fury friend themselves. Knaak recalled sweet story where his dog and bunny were play-racing around the yard until his dog tripped and the bunny ended up on top of the pile. Deuel on the other hand offered some sound advice about remember to keep your dogs on leashes so they don’t get lost and end up at the Humane Society.

OblockCares
Jim Harding’s group started OblockCares as an effort to get out in the community and do some good. Based off of former Ute and current Jacksonville Jaguar’s o-lineman Nick Ford’s Sunday Supper with Utah Foster Care, OblockCares is a continuation of Ford’s work with an emphasis on getting everyone on the offensive line involved. The idea is the group will play better as a whole if they work hard together on and off the field.

OblockCares’ first event as an official group was with Utah Foster Care at the Utah Chalk Art Festival where Knaak, Kolinu’u Faaiu, Johnny Maea, Paul Maile showed up in support of the families Nick Ford started to help. The next event up for OblockCares will also involve Utah Foster Care as they are set to host the next Sunday Supper on July 10th.
More details to come.
