Gobert’s “Rudy’s Kids Foundation” raises money to help charities that support children across the world, including both the United States and the All-Star’s native France.
“It is the Foundation’s mission to ensure that those with fewer means are granted access to opportunities and resources in health, education, and recreation. Thereby helping our youth transform themselves, influence their families and their communities,” the foundation’s mission statement reads.
The Jazz originally drafted Gobert with the 27th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft. The center has been named to four All-NBA teams and six All-Defensive teams during his time with the Jazz.
