Tevian Jones Returning To SUU Men’s Basketball For Fifth Season
The T-Birds’ men’s basketball program announced Jones’ move with a post on Twitter on Wednesday, June 15.
Jones will return to Southern Utah for a fifth season instead of moving on from college basketball this fall.
The guard will be a graduate student during the 2022-23 season.
“Tevian is coming BACK,” SUU men’s basketball tweeted. “@TheReal_TJones is running back for a 5th year.”
Thunderbirds head coach Todd Simon tweeted his excitement for Jones’ return to the program.
“Excited to have Tevian back for another year!” Simon posted. “He was 1st team All Big Sky in 2021 and 3rd team last season after a season ending wrist injury. Most importantly, he is a winner. In two seasons as a Thunderbird he has helped us to a 20-4 record in ’21 and 23-12 last season.”
