SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz ushered in a new era of basketball with six new rebranded jerseys ahead of the 2022-23 NBA season.
The long-rumored uniforms were released by the Jazz on Friday after teasing their debut earlier in the week along with two surprise city edition jerseys that will be worn over the next two seasons, plus a classic edition that will be used in the 2023-24 season.
Guard Jordan Clarkson posed for the photo shoot wearing the new look in the team’s social media posts.

The three new traditional uniforms include a white edition with the black Jazz Note logo resting over top of the player’s jersey number with a highlighter yellow trim.
The second jersey prominently features the highlighter yellow color with the Jazz name emboldened over the player’s number in black.
And finally, a black jersey with the word Utah over the player’s number in highlighter yellow.
The new jerseys are a part of a major rebrand for the Jazz that will include a redesigned court for the upcoming NBA season.
Teams traditionally debut their rebranded jerseys ahead of the NBA draft, though the Jazz don’t currently own a pick in the June 23rd event.
Jazz Release Next Two Purple Edition Jerseys
In addition to the three main jerseys in their rotation, the Jazz also made a surprise announcement by releasing two purple jerseys for both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.
The classic edition jersey for the 2022-23 season resembles the mountain jersey the Jazz wore during their runs to the finals in 1997 and 1998.

The city edition for the 2023-24 season is a redesign of the traditional mountain jerseys, and the team also released their classic jersey for next season harkening back to the New Orleans Jazz era.
Along with the classic edition jerseys, the Jazz will also have two new floors that they will play on at Vivint Arena next season.
One floor features the black Jazz Note logo at half court while the city court features the Jazz mountain logo at midcourt.

Jazz New Jerseys Push Out The Old
With the arrival of the five new jerseys, the team’s former uniforms now belong in the archives.
The Jazz adopted their previous look ahead of the 2016-17 season, officially leaving behind the team’s mountain logo in favor of an updated look of the original music note logo.
Sine 2016 the Jazz unveiled several jersey variations during their most recent rebranding.
