SALT LAKE CITY – The countdown for Hans & Scotty’s 60 in 60 is on. Coming in at #37 is Utah State’s Byron Vaughns (DE).
Throughout the summer Hans & Scotty are counting down the top 60 college football players in the state of Utah as voted on by the media (and a fan ballot).
“Byron Vaughns is one of the best pass rushers in the country in my opinion,” Utah State head coach Blake Anderson said of his defensive end. “Definitely one of the best pass rushers in the league. MVP in the championship game when we needed him most. That was probably the best o-line we saw all year, he had his best game against the best talent. Expect him to have a phenomenal season at getting after the quarterback and chasing the ball. Not only is he a great player but a guy that brings it everyday. If your best players are your best workers, you have a chance to do something special and he brings that for us.”
