SALT LAKE CITY – Former BYU defensive lineman Corbin Kaufusi came off the line of scrimmage for a big catch during the USFL game between the Tampa Bay Bandits and New Jersey Generals.
The Bandits hosted the Generals at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama on Saturday, May 28.
With 1:28 left in the first half, Kaufusi, now an offensive lineman who played football and basketball at BYU, lined up as an eligible receiver instead of a blocker.
The offensive lineman ran a solid route and snagged a pass that sailed over the heads of a couple of New Jersey defenders.
