Utah Valley MBB Signs Junior College Transfer Cam Alford

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Valley men’s basketball head coach Mark Madsen announced that the Wolverines signed junior college transfer Cam Alford.
Alford officially joined the UVU program on Monday, May 23. He previously played at John A. Logan College.
I am honored to welcome Cam Alford and his family to UVU,” Madsen said in a statement. “Cam is an explosive point guard who has proven to be able to play all types of styles of basketball. He’s one of those unique guards who can get into the paint at will to finish at the basket or distribute to a wide-open teammate. He can also move to the two-guard position where his scoring has flourished. Cam has had multiple 30+ point games in his career. Cam’s leadership abilities are huge and he will be a key addition to the UVU culture and team. Cam is an all-around tremendous player and we are very fortunate to have been able to sign him.”
