Super Bowl Champion L.A. Rams To Host 2022 NFL Season Opener

SALT LAKE CITY – The NFL announced that the Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams will host the 2022 season opener at SoFi Stadium.
The league announced the season-opening game on Thursday, May 12.
Los Angeles is scheduled to host the Buffalo Bills in Inglewood, California on Thursday, September 8.

The game will start at 6:20 p.m. (MDT) and will be broadcast on KSL TV.
Last season, the Rams had a 12-5 regulars season record and went on a playoff run that was capped with a Super Bowl LVI victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Buffalo posted an 11-6 record in the regular season and suffered an overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisonal Round of the playoffs.

The NFL will release the remainder of the 2022 schedule on Thursday evening.

The league will reveal the 2022 slate of games via the NFL Network on Thursday, May 12 at 6 p.m. (MDT).
During the broadcast, a team of NFL analysts will break down the schedule “division by division, analyzing the top matchups and primetime games.”
