Russell Wilson, Ciara Name Puppy After New NFL Team

SALT LAKE CITY – Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara named their family’s new puppy after the quarterback’s new team, the Denver Broncos.
On Monday, May 9, the NFL shared a video clip of the couple announcing the puppy’s new name.
“Her name is Bronco,” Ciara said.

Wilson was traded from Seattle Seahawks to the Broncos on March 8.
Since the trade, the Wilson family has embraced the Broncos and the Denver community.

During his career, Wilson has thrown for 37,059 yards, 292 touchdowns, and 87 interceptions with a 65.0 completion rate. He led the Seahawks to a championship in Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014.
Last season, the quarterback battled through an injury and the Seahawks missed the postseason with a 7-10 record.

In 2021, Denver had a 7-10 record and missed the playoffs as well.
