Skyridge Star QB McCae Hillstead Commits To Utah State

SALT LAKE CITY – Skyridge High School star quarterback McCae Hillstead announced on Thursday that he has committed to play for the Utah State Aggies.
McCae Hillstead is in the 2023 recruiting class and is a three-star recruit, according to 247Sports and will be playing at the next level with Utah State. He didn’t receive a rating from the 247Sports composite but is the No. 53 ranked QB in the country and the 13th ranked prospect in the state of Utah.
Hillstead announced his decision to commit to the Aggies via Twitter on Thursday.

Hillstead received offers from Florida International and Utah State, while receiving interest from Nevada and Washington State. As a sophomore in the 2020, Hillstead played in 13 games, throwing for 3,077 yards, 35 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, while rushing for 686 yards and 15 TD’s.
This past season, Hillstead threw for 2,494 yards, 24 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, along with 814 rushing yards and 13 TD’s. In the past two seasons, Hillstead has thrown for 5,571 yards, 59 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.
Hillstead will have one more season with Skyridge coming up in 2022 before going to Logan and playing for Utah State. According to 247Sports, Hillstead is the first commitment in the 2023 class for Utah State.
