Donovan Mitchell Dumps Ball Off To Rudy Gobert For Easy Dunk

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz All-Star duo Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert connected for a massive play in the fourth quarter of Game 6 of the NBA Playoffs.
The Jazz were on a 6-0 run when Donovan Mitchell slashed to the basket, when a Dallas defender went to help, which allowed Mitchell to dump the ball off to Rudy Gobert for the two-handed slam.
That play tied the game at 88 with 4:21 remaining in the fourth quarter. Dorian Finney-Smith broke the tie shortly after with at three-pointer. Gobert brought the Jazz within one point with two free throws. Then Luka Doncic buried a triple to extend the lead to four.

Donovan Mitchell was available when the Jazz welcome Dallas back to Salt Lake City.
The guard left the team’s Game 5 loss with 4:41 left to play in the fourth quarter due to hamstring tightness, but an MRI Tuesday revealed no damage.
Mitchell has bi-lateral quadriceps bruises in both legs but said Wednesday he planned to play.
“I’m thankful that it was negative,” Mitchell said of the MRI. “I’ll be ready to go tomorrow.”
Center Rudy Gobert is also available despite suffering a bee sting near his right eye after Game 4.
The Mavericks can advance to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in 11 seasons, having been eliminated in the opening round in six consecutive postseason trips.
Dallas last won a playoff series in 2011 when they beat the Miami Heat for their first-ever NBA title.
Luka Doncic has carried the Mavericks since rejoining the team in Game 4 after returning from a strained calf.
The superstar guard is averaging 31.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists as the Mavericks have split Games 4 and 5.
