Former Utes Make Massive Plays During Week Two Of USFL Season

SALT LAKE CITY – Multiple former Utah football players made big-time plays during their team’s second game of the rebooted USFL.
Here is how all of the players with ties to the state of Utah fared during the second week of the 2022 USFL season.
Former Utah Utes
Brian Allen – Cornerback – Birmingham Stallions (2-0)
Allen finished with three tackles, two pass deflections and an interception returned for a touchdown in the Stallions’ 33-28 win over the Houston Gamblers.

Thedford had two catches for 10 yards and a touchdown in Pittsburgh’s 30-23 loss to the Philadelphia Stars on Saturday, April 23.

Tejan Koroma – Offensive Line – Michigan Panthers (0-2)
Koroma and the Panthers suffered a 10-6 loss to the New Jersey Generals on Saturday, April 22.

Laulile had one tackle that was for a loss of yards in the Gamblers’ 33-28 loss to the Birmingham Stallions.
