UTAH JAZZ
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith Rips Jazz After Game 2 Loss To Mavericks

SALT LAKE CITY – ESPN host Stephen A. Smith said he “can’t stand” the Jazz after Utah fell to Dallas Mavericks in Game 2 of the first round.
The Jazz lost to a Luka Dončić-less Mavericks team, 110-104, on Monday, April 18.
Utah allowed Dallas’ Jalen Brunson to score a career-high 41 points. The Jazz also allowed Mavericks forward Maxi Kleber to come off the bench and bury eight of Dallas’ 22 made three-pointers
With the result, the series will head to Utah tied 1-1.
The following morning, Smith ripped the Jazz for their performance in Game 2.
“I got to confess to you, man. I can’t stand the damn Utah Jazz. They make me sick,” Smith exclaimed on ESPN’s First Take. “They always, always, always wet the bed. They make me sick. I mean they really do. Dončić is out. Tim Hardaway Jr. is out. It’s a playoff game and Jalen Brunson drops 41. I’m a fan of Jalen Brunson but 41 points? This is what Utah does. This is what they do. Every single time you expect something from them they let you down.”
Smith continued by saying that NBA star Donovan Mitchell should be done with the Jazz if Utah fails to advance to the second round.
“If I’m Donovan Mitchell — if I lose this series, man, I take my jersey, I walk out and I throw that damn thing in the trash. I don’t even fly home with the team,” Smith added. “Every single time you believe in Utah they let you know. They just let you down. It’s who they are.”
