SALT LAKE CITY – Real Salt Lake defender Justen Glad and goalkeeper David Ochoa are expected to return to the starting XI ahead of tomorrow night’s U.S. Open third round clash versus Northern Colorado Hailstorm.
Glad tweaked his hamstring an hour into the 2-1 victory over Nashville on March 19 while Ochoa is yet to see any minutes in 2022 following a quad injury and a finger concern that has lingered into April.
David Ochoa says he is ready to go and give his all for the game tomorrow. Sounds like he will be starting

The news is welcomed considering the horrific defeat Real Salt Lake suffered most recently against New York City last weekend. The 6-0 defeat was the worst in club history and sent shockwaves throughout the RSL faithful. Prior to last weekend’s daunting defeat, Real Salt Lake was playing some of its most promising soccer. Against Toronto two weeks ago, Real Salt Lake showcased a captivating brand of soccer that led to numerous goal-scoring opportunities.
Despite the recent dismantling by New York City, Real Salt Lake still sits in the sixth position in the Western Conference. The difficult start to the MLS season does not get any easier, however, as matches against Portland in Providence Park and a home fixture against the much-improved LA Galaxy at home await.
