SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Warriors unveiled a new kit inspired by Utah’s famous Cottonwood Canyons.
The design of this “City Edition” kit is inspired by pine, granite and snow. It features green, gray and white.

“The white base of the Utah Warriors’ city edition uniforms represents the Greatest Snow on Earth which draws thousands of people around the world into Utah’s mountains for skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports,” reads a release from the team. “The pine green stripes on the … uniforms represent the pine trees found in Utah’s Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Just like the pine trees weather snowstorms, summer heat and all other elements, the people of Utah continue to weather any challenge they face, from Earthquakes to pandemics.”
And finally, the granite detailing is meant to represent the “granite stone quarried from the Cottonwoods by Mormon pioneers nearly 200 years ago.”
The team will debut the kit on May 21 against Austin. You can find tickets to the game here and information on purchasing from the “City Edition” collection here.
So far this season, the Warriors are 2-7. They have a match coming up this weekend against the Seattle Seawolves at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman, Utah.
