USFL: How To Watch Locals In Week One Of 2022 Season

SALT LAKE CITY – The 2022 USFL season is almost here and multiple players with ties to the state of Utah will play in the rebooted football league.
The USFL was first created in 1982. The league played games for three seasons from 1983-85. In 1986, the USFL ceased its operations.
In June 2021, the USFL was revived and confirmed plans to play in the spring of 2022.
The opening weekend of games will be played at Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama.
Here are the local players from the USFL’s eight teams and how you can watch them in week one of the 2022 season:

Former Utah Utes
Brian Allen – Cornerback – Birmingham Stallions
Allen and the Stallions play the New Jersey Generals on Saturday, April 16 at 5:30 p.m. (MDT) on KSL TV.
Thedford and the Maulers will play the Tampa Bay Bandits on Sunday, April 17 at 6 p.m. (MDT) on FS1.

Tejan Koroma – Offensive Line – Michigan Panthers
Koroma and the Panthers will play the Houston Gamblers on Sunday, April 17 at 10 a.m. (MDT) on KSL TV.
Laulile and the Gamblers will play the Michigan Panthers on Sunday, April 17 at 10 a.m. (MDT) on KSL TV.
Zac Dawe – Defensive End – Tampa Bay Bandits
Dawe and the Bandits will play the Pittsburgh Maulers on Sunday, April 17 at 6 p.m. (MDT) on FS1.
Kaufusi and the Bandits will play the Pittsburgh Maulers on Sunday, April 17 at 6 p.m. (MDT) on FS1.
