Justin Meram Strikes, Gives RSL Early Lead Over Toronto FC

SALT LAKE CITY – Forward Justin Meram gave Real Salt Lake an early lead over Toronto FC with a big strike from just outside the box.
RSL hosted Toronto at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, April 9.
During the seventh minute of action, Maikel Chang won the ball for RSL before the Claret and Cobalt worked it to Meram.
The veteran forward ripped a strike from just outside the box that sailed into the back of the net.
Meram’s kick gave Real Salt Lake an early 1-0 lead.

The match was No. 300 of Meram’s Major League Soccer career.
Meram has played for RSL since the 2020 season.
This season, Meram has one assist, two shots, and one shot on target in six matches.
