Instant Replay: Monte Harrison Hits Bees’ First Home Run Of 2022 Season

SALT LAKE CITY – Outfielder Monte Harrison went yard against the Tacoma Rainiers for the Salt Lake Bees’ first home run of the 2022 season.
The Rainiers hosted the Bees at Cheney Stadium for game No. 2 of the season on Wednesday, April 6.
With the game tied 2-2 in the top of the fourth inning, Harrison connected with a swing on a pitch by Tacoma’s Ian McKinney. Harrison’s hit sailed down the line and over the fence in left field.
The homer was a two-run shot that put the Bees up 4-2.

Salt Lake held on to defeat Tacoma, 9-5.

The victory was the Bees’ first of the season after they dropped their season opener a day earlier.
The Bees will enter the third contest of the six-game series against the Rainiers with a 1-1 record.

Salt Lake will play Tacoma on Thursday, April 7 at 8:05 p.m. (MDT). The game will be broadcast on The Zone Sports Network.
