PROVO, UtahĀ – New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is one year removed from being a blue-chip NFL draft prospect. But, after one year in the league, the work continues to grow for the former BYU star.
Wilson, who is prepping for his second year with the Jets this fall, gave his fans a glimpse into his workflow with a new hype video he dropped on his social media platforms. The stage for Wilson’s work in the video was BYU’s Indoor Practice Facility.

Wilson’s video was sponsored by Nike Football, which was evident when Wilson dropped his Bumpboxx at the beginning of the video. The boombox featured Nike swooshes on the speakers and then started to blast “What’s Next” by Drake.
During the video, Wilson is seen going through some passing drills. The former No. 2 overall pick passed for 2,334 yards and completed 55.6% of his passes on a Jets team that finished 4-13 last season. Wilson posted a 3-10 record as the starting QB in 2021.
Zach Wilson makes a visit back to BYU
Since last year ended, Wilson, a native of Draper, has made trips back to Utah to reconnect with the BYU community. In January, he spent some time with his old teammates with a night out at Top Golf in Midvale. In February, he was then seen courtside at the BYU basketball game against Gonzaga, sitting next to Washington Commanders receiver and childhood friend Dax Milne.
The former BYU star signal-caller that led the Cougars to an 11-1 season in 2020 was back on campus last week for BYU football’s Alumni Day. He didn’t participate in the Alumni Game that produced a wild finish. Still, he was at the Student-Athlete Building when Kalani Sitake sent a welcoming message to all BYU football alums to come back and be part of the program.
