Former Jazzman Raja Bell Joins Son At Visit With Utah Football

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Jazz guard Raja Bell was back in Salt Lake City with his son Dia on a visit with the Utah football program.
Raja Bell posted a photo of he and his son on Twitter with Dia in full pads, helmet and uniform of Utah football gear. Dia flashed the U, while Raja was holding a team issue football.
On Friday morning, Bell posted the photo along with the following caption:
“Amazing day tagging along with @DiaBell3QB1 on his visit to Utah football,” Bell tweeted. “Thank you for the hospitality! Be back soon.”
Bell tagged head coach Kyle Whittingham, tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator Freddie Whittingham, director of player personnel Robert Blechen, recruiting assistant Mason Yellico and wide receivers coach Chad Bumphis.

While visiting the Utah football program, Bell was with his family in Salt Lake City for spring break. His family was in Park City on Wednesday.

Dia is a quarterback in the class of 2026. He is a quarterback and basketball player at American Heritage School in Florida. Raja spent 14 seasons in the NBA, including four with the Utah Jazz. During his time with the Jazz from 2003-05 and 2010-12, he averaged 9.9 points per game.
