Cardinals Sign Former Utah State Linebacker Nick Vigil

SALT LAKE CITY – The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve signed free agent and former Utah State Aggies linebacker Nick Vigil.
Arizona announced the transaction on Tuesday, March 22.
Vigil’s deal with the Cardinals is for one season.

About Nick Vigil
Prior to his NFL career, Vigil played at Utah State from 2012-15.
Following his college career, the Plain City, Utah native was selected by the Bengals during the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
He played the first four seasons of his career with the Bengals.
Vigil joined the Los Angeles Chargers as a free agent in 2020.
After one year with the Chargers, the linebacker signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2021.

In 2021, his lone season with the Vikings, Vigil recorded 85 total tackles, 45 solo tackles, four tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup, and one interception.
During his six-year career, Vigil has posted 430 total tackles, 256 solo tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, three interceptions, one touchdown, and 16 pass breakups in 85 games.
