Nashville SC’s Dax McCarty Apologizes For Kicking RSL’s Bode Davis

SALT LAKE CITY – Nashville SC midfielder Dax McCarty issued an apology for kicking Real Salt Lake’s Bode Davis during RSL’s win over the MLS team from Tennessee.
Real Salt Lake hosted Nashville SC at Rio Tinto Stadium on Saturday, March 19.
RSL defeated Nashville, 2-1.
A day after the match, McCarty apologized for kicking Davis and receiving a red card for his actions.
The midfielder expressed remorse and said he wanted to apologize via video rather than putting out a written statement.
“An apology and an explanation. How do you balance apologizing and providing context while not making it sound like BS?” McCarty tweeted alongside his apology video. “I don’t know if I got it right but either way, what happened yesterday was unacceptable. That much is true. Here’s to being better in the future.”
