SALT LAKE CITY – In his prime, Karl Malone was known as one of the toughest players in the NBA, but he let his emotions spill out upon seeing his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time.
In an Instagram post from the account meganraefilms, Malone is seen dressed in all black as he waits with his eyes closed to see his daughter Karlee on her wedding day.
In the video, Malone is left speechless after opening his eyes to see Karlee and is immediately reduced to tears.

Born in 1998, Karlee is Malone’s youngest daughter with wife Kay Malone while the Jazz were making their last fun to the NBA Finals.
Though many potential sons-in-law may be intimidated marrying into a family with as much athletic prowess as the Malones, Karlee’s now-husband should fit in comfortably.
Malone’s new son-in-law is none other than Milwaukee Brewers minor league catcher Brent Diaz. Diaz was selected by the Brewers in the 29th round of the 2017 amateur draft.

Though he’s yet to make his Major League debut, Diaz appeared in two games for the Brewers AAA affiliate Nashville Sounds.
Diaz and Malone were married in Nashville, Tennessee on January 8.

During his illustrious career, Malone was named to 14 All-Star teams, 14 All-NBA teams, four All-Defensive Teams, was a two-time league MVP, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
