SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Baseball rolled out some fresh new hats on Tuesday night. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day coming up, the Utes donned alternate green hats for the rivalry game against BYU.

The Under Armour lids featured a shamrock green color with the interlocking U logo on the front of the hat, with a thin red outline around the logo. The back of the hat features a white shamrock. Utah will only wear the hats against BYU. They don’t plan to wear the hats this weekend in their Pac-12 series against the Oregon Ducks.
Utah is off to a memorable start in the first year of the Gary Henderson era. The Utes have jumped out to an 11-3-1 overall record, including a 2-1 series victory to open up Pac-12 play against the Washington Huskies.
After the BYU game on Tuesday night, Utah baseball will return to Smith’s Ballpark, home of the Salt Lake Bees. The Utes homestand runs from March 22nd to March 29th, where they will host Northern Colorado, Mercer, and Utah Valley.
