SALT LAKE CITY – The Las Vegas Raiders tendered former Utah State defensive back and current NFL safety Dallin Leavitt, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The NFL reporter shared the news on Tuesday, March 15.
“The #Raiders are giving safety and special teamer Dallin Leavitt the right of first refusal tender as a restricted FA ($2.43 million),” Garafolo tweeted. “Former undrafted FA had 35 tackles last season and played 22 percent of the snaps on D last year, including one start.”
By tendering Leavitt, Las Vegas will be able to match any contract offer that the safety receives from another franchise.
Leavitt was slated to officially become a restricted free agent on March 16.
