Report: Commanders Re-Sign Former Utah State OL Tyler Larsen

SALT LAKE CITY – The Washington Commanders reportedly are expected to re-sign former Utah State offensive lineman Tyler Larsen, according to John Keim of ESPN.
The NFL reporter shared the news on Monday, March 14.
NFL free agency officially begins on March 16 but the legal tampering period began on March 14.
“OL Tyler Larsen expected to sign a contract with Washington today, per source. Larsen injured his Achilles last season, but was a valuable backup C,” Keim tweeted.

About Tyler Larsen
Before his time in the NFL, Larsen was a member of the Utah State football program from 2009-13.
The center went undrafted in 2014 and spent time with the Miami Dolphins and Washington during the next two preseasons.
In 2016, Larsen joined the Carolina Panthers. The former Utah State standout played for Carolina through the 2020 season.
Last offseason, Larsen re-joined Washington.
He helped the Washington Football Team to a 7-10 record in 2021 before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury late in the year.
During his NFL career, Larsen has played in 77 games, including 21 starts.
