Anthony has played one season in Salt Lake after transferring to Utah from Utah State after head coach Craig Smith left Aggie blue for Ute crimson. He spent two season at Virginia before transferring to Utah State prior to the 2019-20 season.
The 6’5 guard played in 27 games this season, starting 26. He averaged 9.4 points per game, good for third best in the Ute locker room; and a team high 7.2 rebounds per game. He also had a season high 17 boards against Sacramento State in November.
But it was his versatility on defense thanks to his abundance of length and athleticism that made his so valuable to Smith’s team. His Defending positions 1-4 at any given time, Anthony’s 18 steals were third best for the Utes and his 13 blocks finished behind only Branden Carlson.
Anthony was one of four seniors for the Utes in 2021-22 along with Both Gach, David Jenkins Jr. and Riley Battin.
