SALT LAKE CITY – Six players with locals ties have a opportunity to play at the next level after being selected in the USFL Supplemental Draft.

Of the six locals that were taken, one was from the Utah football program, one from BYU, two from Southern Utah, one from Weber State and one that attended high school in the Beehive State.
The USFL will start with eight teams this season, including the Michigan Panthers, Birmingham Stallions, Houston Gamblers, Tampa Bay Bandits, Pittsburgh Maulers, New Jersey Generals, Philadelphia Stars and New Orleans Breakers.
