Mitchell Hits Whiteside With No-Look Pass For Dunk Against Blazers

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell found center Hassan Whiteside for an open dunk on a nifty no-look pass during Utah’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Jazz hosted the Blazers at Vivint Arena on Wednesday, March 9.
With 5:50 left in the first half, Mitchell was dribbling the ball into the frontcourt before he dished the ball into the post on a crafty no-look give to Whiteside.
The center slammed the ball for a dunk to stretch Utah’s lead to 46-22.

At halftime, the Jazz owned a 63-35 advantage.
Mitchell led Utah with 13 points on 5-9 field goals. He added four rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 16 minutes on the hardwood.
Whiteside added four points, one rebound, and a block.
This season, Mitchell is averaging 25.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per contest. Whiteside is adding 8.3 points on 63.9 percent shooting per game.

Portland traded Robert Covington and Normal Powell to the Los Angeles Clippers and sent CJ McCollum to the New Orleans Pelicans in exchange for more roster flexibility this summer.
Over their last five games, the Trail Blazers have gone winless, and have been outscored by an average of 31.2 points per game.
The Jazz are 2-0 this season against Portland with an average win margin of 18.5 points.
