The second part started out with the initial shock of the loss of Ty Jordan.
“You could see the team start to unify, start to bond, start to connect and the chemistry build,” Whittingham said. “You could just see everybody supporting each other and leaning on each other and really coming together as one. As a football coach, when you have that going on, you know you have a chance for something special.”
Players talked about the work they put in during the off-season and the goals they set following the tragic loss of Jordan. Then they went to the first game of the 2021 season against Weber State. Whittingham talked about how special the video was that paid tribute to Jordan between the third and fourth quarter.

Once the win over Washington State was documented, they briefly talked about the loss of Aaron Lowe, just hours after beating Wazzu.
