USU’s Brandon Horvath, Justin Bean Named To All-Mountain West Teams

SALT LAKE CITY – The Mountain West named Utah State men’s basketball players Brandon Horvath and Justin Bean to the league’s all-conference teams.
The league revealed its All-Mountain West teams on Tuesday, March 8.
Bean was honored as a second team and all-defensive Mountain West player. He’s been a member of the All-MWC in each of the last three seasons.
This season, Bean is averaging 17.8 points per game on 54.9 percent shooting, including 47.8 percent from beyond the arc. He adds an average of 9.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.

Horvath was recognized as a member of the third team.
In his first year with the Aggies, Horvath is averaging 13.6 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game.

Bean and Horvath have led USU to a 17-14 record this season, including 8-10 in Mountain West games.
Utah State will finish its regular season schedule against the Air Force Falcons on Wednesday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m. (MDT). The game will air on The Zone Sports Network.
