A two-time Super Bowl champion with the Patriots, Van Noy will be immediately eligible to sign with any team.
The nine-year NFL veteran began his professional career after being drafted in the second round (40th overall) by the Detroit Lions in 2014.
After two seasons in Detroit, Van Noy was traded to the New England Patriots in 2016 and would go on to feature prominently in a Patriot defense that played their role in the largest Super Bowl comeback in NFL history when the Pats overcame a 28-3 deficit to win.
Van Noy won a second Super Bowl ring in 2019 when the Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3.
He has 10 tackles, 1.5 sacks and five QB hits while playing in three Super Bowls with New England.
Van Noy has played in 111 career games and holds career totals of 424 combined tackles, 39 tackles for a loss, 54 QB hits, 28.5 QB sacks and has recovered seven fumbles, returning two of them for scores.
