Stanford LB Gabe Reid Transferring To Utah Football

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Timpview star and Stanford standout linebacker Gabe Reid announced that he will transfer to the Utah football program.
Gabe Reid spent five seasons with Stanford before entering the portal as a graduate transfer that led him to join Utah football. His younger brother Karene finished his freshman season with the Utes.
Gabe announced his decision on Wednesday afternoon.
“I want to formally thank each of the coaches who have recruited me during these past few months,” Reid posted. “It has truly meant so much. Thank you Stanford for countless amazing experiences over the years on The Farm. I want to express my gratitude to all my loved ones for supporting me along the way. And finally I’m thankful for a Heavenly Father watching over and guiding me along my path. With that being said I’d like to announce that I’m committing to the University of Utah. Can’t wait to spend my last year playing college football back home alongside my brother Karene!!”
