Jazz Guard Donovan Mitchell Banks Buzzer-Beating Three-Pointer Against Suns

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer late in Utah’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns hosted the Jazz at Footprint Center on Sunday, February 27.
With 1:51 left in the fourth quarter, Mitchell beat the 24-second shot clock with a fading bank shot from beyond the arc.
Mitchell’s triple gave the Jazz a 116-106 lead.

Late in the game, Mitchell led the Jazz with 26 points on 8-19 shooting, including 6-10 from beyond the arc. Mitchell added two rebounds, five assists, and two steals.
This season, Mitchell is averaging 25.9 points per game on 45.9 percent shooting, including 35.7 percent from downtown. Mitchell ranks eighth in scoring in the NBA. He also averages 4.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 0.3 blocks, and 1.6 steals per game.
