Jazz Center Hassan Whiteside Rises Above Suns For Massive Dunk

SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz center Hassan Whiteside crushed the rim with a gigantic slam dunk during Utah’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
The Suns hosted the Jazz at Footprint Center on Sunday, February 27.
With 4:05 left in the opening quarter, Whiteside sprinted down the court on a one-man fast break after picking off a pass by Phoenix’s Aaron Holiday.
The Marshall product rose up in the paint over Suns center JaVale McGee and packed a massive jam through the cylinder.

Whiteside’s slam cut Phoenix’s lead to 26-22 with 3:59 to go in the quarter.
This season, Whiteside is averaging 8.5 points on 63.0 percent shooting. He is also recording 7.8 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals, and 1.5 blocks in 18.4 minutes per contest.
