Utah State student section honors Ukrainian born Max Shulga.
LOGAN, UT – The famed Utah State student section took a moment to honor sophomore guard Max Shulga prior to tipoff against San Jose State.
Utah State hosted the Rams at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, UT on Saturday, February 26.

Aggie guard Max Shulga is from Kyiv and his family is still in the city.

Shulga is from the Ukrainian capitol of Kyiv. Ukraine is currently under attack by Russian controlled forces.
Before tip, two sections of the crowd held up yellow and blue placards, indicating the Ukrainian national flag.

Shulga came to the Aggies prior to the 2020-21 season. In 50 games with Utah State, he has averaged 2.9 points per game and tallied 24 assists.
