Aggies Offense Comes Up Short In Loss To Colorado State

SALT LAKE CITY – Colorado State became the fifth opponent to win a game at the once feared Spectrum this season, topping the Aggies 66-55.
Utah State hosted the Rams at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, UT on Saturday, February 26.
After trailing by as many as 12 in the first half, the Aggies were able to cut into the Colorado State lead with a small run to close the half. They would trail 30-24 at the break.

After trailing the entire first half, the Aggies used an immediate 9-3 run to take their first lead of the game at 34-33.
Much of the second was spent in a back and forth battle that included eight lead changes and a pair of ties.
Colorado State was able to overcome 10 Aggie steals, primarily due to shooting 60 percent from the field in the second half.

RJ Eytle-Rock led the Aggies with 14 points. Justin Bean finished with a 10 point, 11 rebound double-double.
Kendle Moore led all scorers with 23 points.
Utah State wraps up the 2021-22 regular season on Friday, March 4 when they travel to San Jose, CA to take on the San Jose State Spartans. Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. (MDT).
