Koby McEwen Hits Five Threes In Weber State’s Blowout Win Over NAU

OGDEN, Utah – Koby McEwen was feeling it from beyond the arc as he drilled five triples to lead Weber State to a 73-49 win over NAU on the road on Saturday.
McEwen finished with 20 points on 5-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc to lead Weber State to the big win over NAU. Dillon Jones had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while making both of his attempts from downtown.
Zahir Porter, Dontay Bassett and Seikou Sisoho Jawara all added nine points apiece. The Wildcats shot 55% from the field, 50% from the three-point line and went 14-for-18 at the free throw line.
Wildcats led wire-to-wire for their 20th win.

They outscored the Lumberjacks 35-27 in the first half and 38-22 in the second half.
Only one Northern Arizona player scored in double figures and that was Nik Mains with 11 points and five rebounds. NAU shot 38% from the floor, 35% from beyond the arc and went just 4-for-12 at the foul line for 33% shooting. A big difference in the game was fouls with 16 called on NAU to just 12 for WSU.
Weber State improved their record to 20-10 overall and 13-6 in Big Sky play. They will have Senior Day on Saturday, March 5 when they face rival Southern Utah at 6 p.m. MT on ESPN+. The Wildcats will also hold a jersey retirement ceremony for coaching legend Dick Motta.
