SALT LAKE CITY – The Trailblazers didn’t have enough firepower to overcome a poor shooting first half in a 71-61 loss to Cal Baptist.
The Dixie State Trailblazers (6-9, 13-15) hosted Lancers (5-10, 15-13) at Burns Arena in St. George, UT on Thursday, February 24.
Fans witnessed a slow first half as neither team could shoot better than 37 percent from the field. Ultimately the half ended in a 25-25 tie.

Hunter Schofield led Dixie State with seven points and seven rebounds in the first half.
Schofield’s big night continued in the second half as he finished with 26 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Lancers hot second half shooting.
