Real Salt Lake Academy Trio Called Into Youth National Team Camp

SALT LAKE CITY – A trio of Real Salt Lake Academy players have been called into the under-15 National Team camp, the club announced today.
Defender Luis Rivera, midfielder Dominic Berrios, and forward Zavier Gozo have been called up by the under-15 USA coach Tom Heinneman to his first training camp in charge of the under-15 level.
The camp will take place between February 21 and 28 at the Elite Training Center in Chula Vista, California.

The trio joined the RSL Academy prior to the start of this season in August of 2021, under Head Coach Andrew May, who led last year’s group to the U15 MLS NEXT Cup Championship. Berrios came to the RSL Academy from RSL-Arizona, while Gozo developed within local club, La Roca, and Rivera was recruited from
All three recently started for RSL Academy in a 1-1 draw against San Jose Earthquakes. In league play, Gozo leads the team with three goals, while Berrios and Rivera have each added a goal apiece.
The RSL Academy returns to the Bay Area this weekend for a doubleheader against Sacramento Republic on Saturday, February 26 and Ballistic United on Sunday, February 27.
