SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The 2021 NFL season has concluded and free agency is the next big event regarding the league and the local players with ties to the state of Utah.

NFL free agency officially began on March 16.

Here are the local NFL players involved with free agency in 2022:

Former Utah Utes

Marcus Williams – 2022 Team: Baltimore Ravens

Position: Safety

Seasons in the NFL: Five (all with New Orleans Saints)

2021 Team: New Orleans Saints

2021 Stats: 74 total tackles, 52 solo tackles, one forced fumble, and two interceptions

Status: Reportedly joining the Baltimore Ravens on a five-year, $70 million deal

Matt Gay – 2022 Team: Los Angeles Rams

Position: Kicker

Seasons in the NFL: Three (Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams)

2021 Team: Los Angeles Rams

2021 Stats: 32-34 on field goals and 48-49 on PATs

Status: Tendered as a Restricted Free Agent

Tyler Huntley – 2022 Team: Baltimore Ravens

Position: Quarterback

Seasons in the NFL: Two (all with Baltimore Ravens)

Francis Bernard

Sam Tevi

Position: Offensive Tackle

Devontae Booker

Position: Running Back

Seasons in the NFL: Six (Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants)

2021 Team: New York Giants

2021 Stats: Rushing – 145 carries for 593 yards and two touchdowns. Receiving – 40 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown.

Status: Unrestricted Free Agent
