Jazz Blow Out Rockets For Sixth Straight Win

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz cruised to their sixth straight win with a dominant 135-101 victory over the Houston Rockets.
Rudy Gobert returned to the lineup and scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds before being ejected in the fourth quarter.
Donovan Mitchell had 30 points, seven assists, and six rebounds in the victory.
First Quarter
The Jazz jumped out to a hot start with Gobert back in the lineup, finding easy dunks for the All-Star center in the paint.
The team’s second unit began to take shape as Snyder expanded his rotation to 10 players with Trent Forrest, Jordan Clarkson, Danuel House Jr., Eric Paschall, and Hassan Whiteside all saw the floor.

Bojan Bogdanovic had 13 first quarter points while Gobert added six points and two rebounds in five minutes.
After one, the Jazz led the Rockets 36-24.
Second Quarter
The Jazz continued a late first quarter run by scoring the first 11 points of the second quarter to spur a 16-0 run and turn the game into a blowout.
After playing 1o players in the first quarter, Snyder made room for Udoka Azubuike in the second, giving the Jazz an 11-man rotation over the first 24 minutes.
Azubuike scored four points and grabbed two rebounds as Snyder was able to hold Gobert to just nine minutes in the first half.
At the break, the Jazz led the Rockets 78-53.
Third Quarter
The Jazz energy dropped slightly in the third quarter as they managed to score just nine points over the final seven minutes of the period.
Houston outscored the Jazz 25-22 in the frame, though neither team shot particularly well with the game already out of hand.

The Jazz shot just 8-20 in the quarter while the Rockets shot 7-20.
After three, the Jazz led the Rockets 100-78.
Fourth Quarter
The game never got close in the fourth quarter as Snyder was able to his deep bench midway through the period.
Juancho Hernangomez scored his first points as a Jazzman hitting a corner three in rhythm.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker showed off his point guard skills getting into the paint and finding Udoka Azubuike on the roll, but the center was fouled before he could pick up the assist.
The Jazz crushed the Rockets 135-101 for their sixth straight win.
