Weber State’s Eight-Game Winning Streak Snapped By Montana State

SALT LAKE CITY – The Weber State men’s basketball struggled at home and had its eight-game winning streak snapped by the Montana State Bobcats.
The Wildcats hosted the Bobcats on Saturday, February 5.
Weber State fell to Montana State, 78-57.

It was a rough night for the Wildcats. The first half was a struggle that snowballed into the final 20 minutes of action. Weber State was outscored by eight points during the opening half and by 13 points over the closing half.

The Wildcats allowed four Bobcats to score at least 15 points.
Weber State shot 35.2 percent overall and 26.4 percent from three. Seikou Sisoho Jawara led the Wildcats with 14 points on 5-10 field goals.

With the loss, the Wildcats fell to an 18-6 record, including 11-2 in Big Sky Conference contests.
Weber State’s next game is on the road against the Eastern Washington Eagles on Thursday, February 10 at 7 p.m. (MDT) on ESPN+.
