SALT LAKE CITY – Tony Finau has fired a two-over-par second round to make the cut at even-par in the Saudi International.
Finau, 32, began the tournament with a two-under-par in the first round but unfortunately, let all of his good work slip throughout the second round. His even-par performance through the opening two rounds is good enough to make the cut. He currently finds himself in a tie for 35 and 10 shots off the pace.
Spaniard Adri Arnaus and Harold Varner III lead the field at 10-under-par while Australian Cameron Smith and Mathew Wolff sit two shots back at 8-under-par.
In 2021, Finau debuted at the Saudi International for the first time in his career and managed to finish in second place just two shots behind Dustin Johnson who won the event at 15-under-par.
