SALT LAKE CITY – Tony Finau has fired a two-over-par second round to make the cut at even-par in the Saudi International.

Finau, 32, began the tournament with a two-under-par in the first round but unfortunately, let all of his good work slip throughout the second round. His even-par performance through the opening two rounds is good enough to make the cut. He currently finds himself in a tie for 35 and 10 shots off the pace.

Spaniard Adri Arnaus and Harold Varner III lead the field at 10-under-par while Australian Cameron Smith and Mathew Wolff sit two shots back at 8-under-par.

In 2021, Finau debuted at the Saudi International for the first time in his career and managed to finish in second place just two shots behind Dustin Johnson who won the event at 15-under-par.

In round three, Finau will play alongside Japanese golfer Rikuya Hoshino and Englishmen Laurie Canter. They will tee it off the first tee at 11:05 p.m. on Friday, February 4.

Immediately following the Saudi International, Finau will travel to Phoenix, Arizona, where he will contend at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. The last time Finau played in the Waste Management was in 2020 when he lost to Webb Simpson in a playoff.
